Saturday School for negative attendance is this Saturday April 12th. at the DHS cafeteria from 8am to 12pm. This will be the last Saturday school for the remainder of the year. Per school policy, a student is not able to accumulate more than 36 negative attendance marks each year in high school, otherwise you are ineligible to participate in the graduation ceremony your senior year. If you have any question regarding your attendance marks please see your counselor or vice principal.
Talent Show This year’s amazing talent show blasts off Saturday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. You’ll enjoy 22 great acts, two hilarious emcees, some entertaining original commercials, a fun audience competition, and great giveaways (including free passes to Magic Mountain). Buckle up, hold on, and get ready for an out-of-this world adventure that you won’t want to miss!
Students if you are interested in joining MED Academy next year, please pick up an application from the counseling office. Application deadline is April 22nd.”
Class Officer Do you want to lead your class next year? If so, be sure to pick up a class officer application from Mrs. Henderson in Rm. 202. They’re due today.
“The parties were bigger, the pace was faster, the shows were broader, the buildings were higher!” The Class of 2015 is proud to announce the Junior/Senior Prom: A Night At Gatsby’s! The prom will be held on Saturday, May 10 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Holiday Inn’s Grand Ballroom in Visalia. Pictures will begin at 7 in the evening. Tickets will go on sale April 22nd, after spring break. They are $40 each or $70 per couple. Hope to see you there!
Prom Listen up students who will be attending the prom, in order to purchase your tickets after Spring Break, you must have a 2.0 by Friday April 11th that’s when the grades will be printed.
Math Field There will be a Math Field Day Meeting today at lunch in room 514. Please bring your permission slip if you haven't turned one in yet.
Project SEED 2014Hey Students! Project SEED is a program for students who are interested in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, materials science, or some other closely related major. This program offers a student to work eight weeks during the summer and are eligible for a $2,500 stipend! It interested pick up application with Ms. Rivera in the career center room 509.
